Report of Visitor Augusto Rosales Tahay- Norman Borlaug Fellow

Abstract

Augusto Rosales Tahay came to visit Minnesota from April 30 – May 28, 2005 as a Norman Borlaug Fellow under the faculty sponsorship of Dr. Dean Current and Dr. Tim Smith.

Mr. Rosales currently works in Guatemala with Chemonics International, a global consulting firm promoting economic growth and higher living standards in developing countries. While in Minnesota, he met with faculty at different Departments at the University of Minnesota, delivered a seminar entitled “Community Forest Concessions in Guatemala and create several links for future joint projects.
